If a Volcano of that magnitude erupts, because it is equal or even worse than Yellowstone, a great part of the whole world will be affected.
It will cause a global winter, floods, tsunamis, and triggers other volcanoes to also erupted, like a domino effect.
But this would be the same if Yellowstone would go off.
I always thought it was Nuclear fallout shown in I Pet Goat, but now i know it is not.
